Not a monster. It's the unique species. I love them but I wouldn't have them since now their kind is in endangered species category. They are so precious! Keep them out of California where the tank goes cold when PG&E turns off the power due to the companies total lack of adequate maintenance of the power delivery system. Sorry, true and heart breaking... hey're probably endangered because scientists have been capturing them and chopping off their limbs to study how they grow back. From the last article I read about them, one poor axolotl's limbs were cut off multiple times to see how many times it could regenerate the same limb. We humans are the pits.
Please tell the scientists that I am the only Ben remaining in my area. So many have died, so, we Bens are most endangered as I speak. We must be rescued and fed at least four times a day, with a little wine for each course, not leaving out minor allowances to enable us visit nightclubs for rapid reproduction. Love little mud puppies! I didn't know they were endangered. Way back when in my younger days I raised 'em. They're adorable!
