There was a theatrical and a tv miniseries version as well as a sequel miniseries Children of Dune. This picture looks pretty ordinary compared to those. Just some guy in a coat on a beach. Wish I understood the appeal of this Chalamet kid. I will definitely see this movie regardless because I am a Dune fan, just can’t see him as Paul.
And the whining toxic fans are already out in force, focusing their entire toxic ire on a single photograph 🙄 This is why we can't have good things, and if cinemas close until Kingdom Come because of Covid-19, serve these toxic people right Not as big of a Dune fan as some, but what I've seen and heard so far..I'm game. Cast is decent and I like the director wanting to split it into 2-3 movies to make sure nothing is lost.. I'm willing to give it a shot and keep an open mind.
