I just thought I would throw out some baseless accusations, like "some deserving the label that comes nowhere the mass murders committed by the extreme right." so Antifa are just imaginary people? They really aren't out there occupying areas of major cities in the northwest? They are not well organized AND well funded? If you really experienced Europe then you should be aware that, in most of Europe, the Democratic party would be considered a center-right party, at best, and the Republicans would be on the far right. And yet, for many in the U.S., the Democrats are seen as no different from Communists. The real problem is that fascists (or Corporatists, as Mussolini famously described Fascism) have pulled the U.S. political debate so far to the right that it's almost impossible to have a rational conversation on the subject. I agree, partially, with your assessment. The Democratic Party in the US is making a push in the last few years to be more aligned with the European left, because as you state are more centered, by European standards. However, what I’ve learned from Europe is they are closer to socialism than the US, and that is the push the democrats are making. While I understand and embrace a hybrid system to some socialistic programs. Socialism has never, and cannot, be successful. Even Karl Marx wrote it likely couldn’t work beyond theory. As Europe is (and has) taught us financially it is impossible to have complete socialism. The economy is hurting in Europe due to their social systems. But, as you know as well as I do, the right in the US has not done anything similar to Mussolini and his fascist followers.

Also, as we know from history, fascists and communists are separated mostly by spelling. In short, it is a battle between which ruling class will oppress the collective. Neither work, neither are sustainable, neither are healthy, and neither represent the Constitutional Republic that is the United States.
