The average includes all households and the number or income earners on those household. Also the increase in unemployment only last until July 25th, during which time these companies can get stimulus money to offset their payroll, the same way people can apply for unemployment. Then there would be no need to raise prices, unless the business is just trying to collect stimulus money and then use it to pad their profits.
I am unclear why you think we should only count couples who both work but that is not the norm. If it was the average would be closer to 2 than to 1.
Also, you seem to be talking out of both sides or your mouth here. If a company is completely shut down and doesn't have payroll, they are not competing with unemployment, because they are closed.
As to the idea that few businesses have gotten PPP, I would point out the same is true of the number of people who have gotten unemployment. Only 16% of people lost their jobs and far less of those have collected anything for unemployment. And the only stimulus money that has been replaced has been the PPP funds.
