The fact that number one is to save your bacon grease is life. 😂 I can’t tell you how many times my non southern friends have pulled a mason jar of goo out of the fridge with a disgusted face saying, “what is this?!” Emily Hare I remember when grease cans and salt and pepper shakers came as a set to be kept on the stove. So the bacon grease was kept on the stove way back “yonder”! Emily Hare I am on vacation, and I have a jar of it in the refrigerator. Used it this morning to fry potatoes.
