Worked hard to get a smooth gear shift 3 on the column three on the tree...most kids now have no idea how to drive a stick We used these in the 70's at Central...room full of those antique simulators in the basement  but also got to drive real cars ...brand new 1973 models-- with power steering  good thing the instructor had a brake on his side, some of my classmates were not good drivers Also they had a teacher for driving and a teacher for the books and one for the sims!! Mr mcclain
I wish all high school students HAD to take driver's ed. I remember well the horrible movies we had to watch - not fun but made an impression to be a better and more careful driver. I graduated from Parkview in 1961, and I took dr. Ed. In 1958. Why was it taken out of the schools?? It really helped the kids back then, and the parents got a break on their insurance premiums if their kid took the class!!
