Thank you for sharing this. Our walk is just beginning. My son is 20 months. Some days I feel ready for this and others I feel like I’m standing in a wind tunnel and can’t move. Like Amos, Gryffin is a happy healthy and amazing boy that knows no different than who he is. He’s perfect in all his own quirky amazing ways. Learning how to navigate this and do my best for him is just going to look different than it did for my first three kids and that’s just fine. I’ll learn, and also choose Joy! Our beautiful boy! You should’ve seen when he took his braces off the night they put them on. Our daughter said” Baron took his braces off”. I didn’t believe her. He did. We roared with laughter. Orthodontist did not think it was all that funny. Oh, the moments’ If he is like my son, he will take joy in your sweet surprise. And later let you know he participated in ridiculousness to please you!
