Thanks Rick. Tough decisions for everyone. I feel for all in the tourist industry that are affected. Many more artists, too, are being impacted. Pray that this will all pass quickly. I am so saddened by all the dreams dashed... all the long awaited times with loved ones up-ended... and it's not just travel... it's all that is so fundamental to the fabric of our society. I'm hoping some good will come of this in recognition of what's really important in life.
I hope our friend, Alfio, will see this post and know we are thinking of him , and all the wonderful people we met in Italy on our Rick Steves tour. We will be back. I promise. Thanks, Rick, for making the world a smaller place.
