I love this story Rick! Thank you! Any way you slice and display it, the tomato with some buratta or bocconcini, Insalata Caprese is unforgettable! Verona is a gem! I discovered it through a movie and we stayed 3 nights in the Spring of 2018! I often wonder these past few weeks how our Italian friends we met are fairing. I am grieving with them.
Our daughter spent a summer in Italy studying. When she came home she fixed mozzarella and tomatos and pasta and pesto. Oh it was soooo good Alas, our month-long trip to Italy had to be postponed. It is moments like the one described by Rick that I was so looking forward to. Thank you, Rick, for allowing the drama to continue. Lord, bless everyone world wide and keep them safe.
